Why The Well? The well is both a tangible and symbolic location. Beyond the need for our precious water, it is also where we trade objects of necessity, novelty, and beauty. It is synonymous of sharing in the wealth of knowledge and ideas, and making meaningful connections.

Anne was born to artists in mid-60's Paris and grew up amongst art dealers. Experiencing both sides early on made her aware of the particular play of opposite energies. It showed her that there is almost always an alternate image and narrative behind and beyond what is first offered to the eyes. It taught her to recognize what she calls the Alchemy of Seeing and Being Seen. This process lies at the core of her creative expression.

She believes that an authentic expression anchored in the noble triad of the heart, mind, and hands is an act of artistry. When such configuration occurs works of Art become portals toward the Beauty beyond the veil.
